I just read this great post from Perry Marshall:
Do You Practice this Entrepreneurial “Discipline”?
I’m not sure how many of you avoid celebrating your wins, but it’s plagued me for as long as I can remember. “Time off” in the traditional sense (as in sitting on your butt doing nothing) has never worked for me. I get antsy after about 30 minutes in the hammock.
With this in mind, I changed my focus a few months ago. One of the ways I celebrate is by being consciously undisciplined. I do what I want, when I want, for whatever reason excites me in the moment.
Thanks to Perry, I now have a phrase for this sort of activity: The Discipline of Being Purposefully (and Temporarily) Undisciplined.
